Third vehicular attack carried out in Jerusalem in May, and as before, it received support from Fatah and the Palestinian media; the Palestinian Authority did not condemn it*.

On May 20, 2015, a vehicular attack was carried out in Jerusalem, the third during the past month and the seventh since the beginning of 2015. During the past year there was an increase in the number of vehicular attacks carried out as part of what the Palestinians call the “popular resistance.”

This past week Israel’s south remained quiet. Rallies and marches were held in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip for the Nakba Day. A vehicular attack was carried out near the entrance to the village of Alon Shvut in Gush Etzion. Four Israelis were injured, one seriously.
