This past week two rocket hits were identified in Israeli territory, An anti-tank missile fired at an IDF tank was intercepted by a new system called Wind Jacket. Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu plans to present a new solution for the Palestinian-Israeli conflict which includes an interim arrangement to be implemented immediately.

London-based center for anti-Israeli propaganda, affiliated with Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, outlawed in Israel. It promotes the demand of the Palestinian refugees to return as a way of destroying Israel. Senior PRC figures send flotillas and convoys to the Gaza Strip and transfer funds to Hamas.

Terrorism from the Gaza Strip since Operation Cast Lead:Data, Type and Trends

In the two years since Operation Cast Lead there has been a significant reduction in the extent and severity of terrorist attacks carried out by Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and the other Palestinian terrorist organizations operating in the Gaza Strip. That created a new security situation, and improvement on that before Operation Cast Lead.
