On the night of October 24, 2019, the Israeli security forces demolished a building under construction in the al-Am'ari refugee camp near Ramallah. The house belonged to the family of Palestinian terrorist Islam Abu Hamid, who killed an IDF soldier in May 2018. Following the destruction Palestinians rioted and clashed with the Israeli security forces.

News of Terrorism and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict (October 24 – 29, 2019)

On October 25, 2019, the return march was held in the Gaza Strip with the participation of about 5,000 Palestinians. The level of violence was similar to that of previous weeks. Palestinians threw IEDs and Molotov cocktails at IDF forces, sabotaged the security fence and tried to break into Israeli territory. In east Jerusalem an attempted stabbing attack targeted Border Police soldiers. The Israeli security forces destroyed a house in the al-Am'ari refugee camp near Ramallah which belonged to the family of Palestinian terrorist Islam Abu Hamid Senior Palestinian Authority figures stated that the PA would rebuild the house.

News of Terrorism and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict (October 7 – 23, 2019)

The return marches in the Gaza Strip held on October 11 and 18, 2019, were characterized by varying levels of violence. A delegation of senior Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) figures headed by its leader Ziyad al-Nakhalah paid a visit to Egypt and met with senior officials in Egyptian General Intelligence. In Judea and Samaria there was an attempted vehicular attack of Israeli security forces operating in the al-Am'ari refugee camp (near Ramallah). The contradictory reactions of Hamas and the PIJ to the Turkish invasion of Syria illustrates their different orientations.

News of Terrorism and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict (September 25 – October 6, 2019)

The two most recent return marches (September 27 and October 4, 2019) were characterized by a high level of violence. On September 25, 2019, a Palestinian boy stabbed and wounded a young Israeli woman waiting for a bus near Modi'in. On September 26, 2019, a Palestinian boy tried to stab Border Policemen at the Chain Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem. The Israeli security forces apprehended the terrorist squad suspected of carrying out the IED attack at the Danny Spring, northwest of Ramallah, which killed an Israeli girl and wounded her father and brother.

News of Terrorism and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict (September 17-24, 2019)

This week, over 9,000 demonstrators took part in the Friday demonstrations in the Gaza Strip, more than in previous weeks. In Judea and Samaria, a stabbing attack by a Palestinian woman was thwarted in the Kalandia Crossing. The Palestinian prisoners continue their hunger strike in Israeli jails demanding the removal of cellular jamming devices in jails. Throughout Judea and Samaria, there were expressions of sympathy with the striking prisoners. However, this did not gain widespread public support.

Glorification of a shahid who recently perpetrated a stabbing attack, at an annual ceremony of appreciation for high school and university graduates in the village of Al-Eizariya, east of Jerusalem

On September 7, 2019, the youth club of the village of Al-Eizariya (situated east of Jerusalem) held the annual ceremony of appreciation for high school and university graduates who are residents of the village. The ceremony was held at Al-Eizariya Girls High School. Prominent figures attending the ceremony were the head of the Jerusalem Office in the PLO; chief of the PA General Intelligence in the Jerusalem District; the Fatah secretary in Al-Eizariya and his deputy; the mayor of Al-Eizariya, school principals, the students and their families.
