Escalation in Rocket Fire in the South (Update No. 3) (1300 hours, June 24, 2012)

Despite Hamas’ announcement of a ceasefire beginning as of 2300 hours on the night of June 20, on Friday, June 23 rocket fire attacking Israeli territory was resumed. Since the last round of rocket fire escalation began 162 hits were identified in Israeli territory.
