The Students’ Union of the London School of Economics and Queen Mary College of London University Have Twinned with the Islamic University in Gaza. This past week sporadic rocket and mortar shell fire from the Gaza Strip continued targeting Israeli territory. On January 4, 2010, Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas met with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in Sharm el-Sheikh. President Mubarak updated Mahmoud Abbas on his December 29, 2009 conversation with Israeli prime minister Benyamin Netanyahu.
