This past week IDF forces uncovered a tunnel dug for terrorist purposes by Hamas and penetrating into Israeli territory, one of the longest ever uncovered. Three terrorist operatives were killed in the Jenin refugee camp as an Israeli security force attempted to detain them.

Violence and Terrorism in Judea and Samaria, 2013: Data, Characteristics and Trends

In 2013 there was a significant increase in the scope of violence and terrorism in Judea, Samaria and the Jerusalem area. According to data from the Israel Security Agency (ISA), in 2013 there were 1,271 terrorist attacks, as compared with 578 in 2012 (a year in which violence and terrorism also increased).
