This past week terrorist events focused on an attempted stabbing attack of IDF soldiers by a Palestinian at a roadblock at the entrance to Nablus. Muhammad al-Faqih, who murdered Michael Mark, was killed by Israeli security forces.

This past week the throwing of stones and Molotov cocktails and shootings at passing Israeli cars continued. However, no serious terrorist attacks were carried out. This year as well Hamas and the other terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip are exploiting the summer vacation to give children and adolescents military training.

his past week terrorist event focused on the stabbing attack in Gush Etzion and an attack prevented in Jerusalem. The Palestinian media reported that Facebook had removed pages affiliated with Hamas in Judea and Samaria. A Hamas spokesman said it was not the first time Facebook had removed Hamas pages.

This week there were more shooting and stabbing attacks in Judea and Samaria. Several civilians and soldiers were wounded. The Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces initiated a broad security operation to put an end to anarchy and ensure security.

On June 30 and July 1, 2016, towards the end of the Muslim religious month of Ramadan, there was series of stabbing and shooting attacks in which two Israelis were killed. As in the previous wave of terrorist attacks, the Hebron region was the focal point for attacks and a base for attackers.
