This past week one rocket hit was identified in Israeli territory, landing in the western Negev. Violent confrontations and friction continued in Judea and and Samaria. Following the abduction of seven Egyptian soldiers and policemen, the Egyptian security forces took steps on the ground making contact difficult between the Sinai Peninsula and the Gaza Strip.

Attempts to carry out terrorist attacks using cold weapons (stones, knives, Molotov cocktails) continue in Judea and Samaria, part of the so-called “popular resistance.”
