The American State Department offers a reward for information about senior Hamas figure Saleh al-‘Arouri

The American State Department recently offered a reward of up to $5 million for information that would lead to the identification or location of Saleh al-'Arouri, deputy head of Hamas' political bureau, and two senior Hezbollah military operatives.

News of Terrorism and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict (November 14 – November 20, 2018)

After the most recent round of escalation and the ceasefire ending it the "return marches" and mini-flotillas continue. Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) are waging a campaign to establish a "narrative of victory" while minimizing the harm inflicted on them by Israel. In Judea and Samaria a Palestinian terrorist carried out a stabbing attack in the police station of the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood in Jerusalem.

Hamas handles boys for sabotaging the security fence as part of the “return marches:” The case of Yasser Abu al-Naja

During the “return march” on June 29, 2018, a group of boys tried to sabotage the barbed wire fence east of Khan Younes, near the security fence, probably in preparation for an attempt to break into Israeli territory. One of the group members, Yasser Abu al-Naja, a boy aged 13 (or 14), was killed during the attempt to sabotage the barbed wire fence. The dead boy is the son of Amjad Abu al-Naja, senior operative in Hamas’s military wing in Khan Younes, and a member of a clan which produced Hamas and Fatah terrorist operatives.

News of Terrorism and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict (May 30 – June 5, 2018)

This past week events focused on two rounds of rocket fire attacking Israel, during which more than 150 rockets and mortar shells were fired, a quantity unprecedented since Operation Protective Edge. At the same time, the violent "popular" activities continue, including damage to the security fence, attempts to penetrate Israeli territory and destroy equipment.
