This past week terrorist events focused on the rocket attack targeting the southern Israeli city of Sderot. A Salafi jihadist network and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) issued separate claims of responsibility for the attack. This past week the throwing of stones and Molotov cocktails and shootings at passing Israeli cars continued. However, no serious terrorist attacks were carried out.
