This past week Israel’s south remained quiet. In Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem mass demonstrations were held. A large Hamas network smuggling raw materials and equipment to the Gaza Strip was recently uncovered in Israel. On February 28, 2015, the Egyptian Court of Urgent Matters in Cairo designated the Hamas movement as a terrorist organization.

Who Is a Terrorist and Who Is a Journalist? Hamas Operative Abdallah Mortaja, Killed in Operation Protective Edge, as a Case Study.

About a week after the end of Operation Protective Edge the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate issued a list of 17 names, allegedly of journalists who had been killed in the operation. The list was published by the PA’s Wafa News Agency, which received it from the Hamas-controlled Gaza office of the ministry of information.
