The situation in the Gaza Strip: This past week the sharp rise number of active Covid-19 cases in the Gaza Strip continued with 1,408 new cases. As of November 3, 2020, the number stood at 2,647, up from 2,080 on October 27, 2020. The situation in Judea and Samaria: This past week the number of active Covid-19 cases in Judea and Samaria rose, with 2,330 new cases. As of November 1, 2020, there were 4,415 active cases, up from 4,389 a week ago. The number of deaths stands at 455, up from 417 a week ago. In the Gaza Strip, the rise in Covid-19 infections continues. On October 26, 2020, number of active cases in Gaza stood at 2,179. In Judea and Samaria, the number of verified active cases remains relatively stable but high (4,363). IDF forces exposed an attack tunnel in the southern Gaza Strip, apparently constructed by Hamas, penetrating into Israeli territory but not crossing the underground barrier. Following the exposure of the tunnel two rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory. In Judea and Samaria the frequent throwing of stones, rocks and Molotov cocktails continues.

The Spread of Covid-19 in Gaza Strip, Judea and Samaria (Updated to October 26, 2020)

The situation in the Gaza Strip: This past week the number of active Covid-19 cases in the Gaza Strip continued to rise, and as of October 25, 2020, stood at 2,080, with 872 new cases. The situation in Judea and Samaria: The curve in Judea and Samaria continues flattening, but the number of active remains high and stood at 4,389 on October 25, 2020. This past week 2,510 new cases were detected. There are 41 patients in ICUs, eight on ventilators. Actually, the number of active cases is far larger than what is reported but they have not been detected because of the low number of tests.

News of Terrorism and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict (October 14 – 20, 2020)

In the Gaza Strip the number of active Covid-19 cases continues rising (1,893 as of October 20, 2020). In Judea and Samaria the curve is flattening, but the number of active cases is still high (4,477). The Hamas administration and the ministry of health in Ramallah are concerned about an outbreak of seasonal flu together with Covid-19 cases. Palestinians in Judea and Samaria continue throwing stones, rocks, Molotov cocktails and bottles of paint at Israeli vehicles.

The Spread of Covid-19 in Gaza Strip, Judea and Samaria (Updated to October 19, 2020)

This past week the number of active Covid-19 cases in the Gaza Strip continued to rise, and as of October 18, 2020, stood at 1,859, with 574 new cases detected.Despite the upward trend in the numbers, the Hamas administration continues easing restrictions, at the same time attempting to ensure that public health guidelines will be followed. Medical spokesmen voiced concern over the public's disregard for health guidelines and preventive measures, and warn that the virus may spread extensively. The public health system in the Gaza Strip has begun making preparations for the annual winter flu season along with Covid-19.

News of Terrorism and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict (September 16 – 22, 2020)

In the Gaza Strip the moderate rise of Covid-19 infections continues. There are currently 1,780 active cases, up from 1,669 a week ago. In Judea and Samaria as well the number of Covid-19 infections continues to rise. The quiet in the Gaza Strip, reached with understandings for a lull, was broken when two rockets were fired at the southern Israeli cities of Ashqelon and Ashdod. This past week the decision to renew the launching of IED and incendiary balloon to attack the Israeli communities near the Gaza Strip was announced on the social networks. Media and diplomatic activity of the Palestinian Authority (PA) and the various organizations increased after the signing of the agreements in Washington.
