This past week terrorist events focused on the rocket attack targeting the southern Israeli city of Sderot. A Salafi jihadist network and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) issued separate claims of responsibility for the attack. Israel and Hamas both made it clear that they did not want the hostilities to escalate.
