In Ramallah a street is named after Yahya Ayash, the Hamas operative called “The Engineer.” He was behind suicide bombing attacks which killed several dozen Israeli civilians and were intended to sabotage the Oslo accords.

Hamas Attacks the American Administration for Designating Al-Aqsa TV and the Islamic National Bank, Two Important Hamas Institutions, as Terrorist Entities

Turning Shaheeds into Role Models: Fatah unofficially inaugurated the Dalal al-Magribi Square in Al-Bireh, named after a Fatah terrorist who participated in the mass-murder attack on Israel’s Coastal Road (1978)

Three months ago the Palestinian Authority announced that on March 11, 2010, an official ceremony would be held in the town of Al-Bireh (in the vicinity Ramallah) to inaugurate the Dalal al-Magribi Square.

Following the Israeli government’s decision to include the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron and Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem in the national heritage sites, a new Facebook group was created in late February by Palestinian web activists, calling for an “electronic intifada” to protect the holy sites of Islam from Israel.

As part of the response to the Goldstone Report that defines the rocket attacks as a “crime of war”, Hamas’s judicial system brings up claims legitimizing the rocket attacks at Israel and rejecting the legitimacy of the State of Israel

Muhammad Faraj al-Ghoul, the justice minister of the Hamas administration in the Gaza Strip, recently announced that Hamas would “very soon” submit its response to the Goldstone Report, a 52-page document containing the findings of a “committee of experts” established by Hamas for that purpose.
