Overview

1. In the wake of the interest currently being taken in Iranian policy in the Middle East and internationally, the ITIC has taken upon itself to provide a list of selected Information Bulletins it has issued over the past years about Iran .

2. The Bulletins focus on two areas: the support Iran gives Hezbollah and the Palestinian terrorist organizations; and the anti-Israeli, anti-Semitic, anti-Western propaganda campaign it wages in the Arab-Muslim world. The list also includes Bulletins dealing with Iranian involvement in Iraq and internal Iranian topics.

3. The list includes Information Bulletins in English which can be accessed at the ITIC Website, www.terrorism-info.org.il . Many of the Bulletins were translated into French, Russian, German and Arabic, and can be accessed at the same Website.

Palestinian Terrorist Organizations

  5. In an unusual public statement, Zakaria Zubeidi, chief of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in Jenin, admits that his organization receives operative assistance from Hezbollah (funds, arms and training), and that the organization exerts much influence on him 19/03/06

International Terrorism

  1. Following an appeal from the Argentinean Attorney General, Interpol issued international extradition warrants for five senior Iranians and one senior Hezbollah operative. The charge was involvement in the suicide bombing attack of the Jewish community center building (AMIA) in Argentina in 1994 23/08/2007.

  2. Argentina accuses Iran of responsibility for the Hezbollah terrorist attack which destroyed Jewish Community Center in Buenos Aires, 1994. The Argentinean Attorney General's office announced it had found Iran responsible for the terrorist attack and an Argentinean judge issued arrest warrants for seven senior Iranians and one senior Hezbollah member 14/11/2006

  2. Holocaust denial and anti-Semitism: the Iranian media gave wide coverage to the Holocaust denial conference held in Cairo by marginal opposition parties. The conference was rife with anti-Semitic propaganda, and the director waved The Protocols of the Elders of Zion and repeated the lies it contained 7/01/2007

  4. The Iranian regime operates many Arabic-language Internet sites to spread its radical Islamic ideology to the Arab and Muslim populations around the world.   13. Every year Iran and its supporters celebrate Jerusalem Day on the last day of the holy month of Ramadan. This year as well, the top officials of the Teheran régime and the Hezbollah in Lebanon held popular ceremonies on that day (November 21, 2003) whose main themes were the annihilation of Israel, increasing the aid for the violent Palestinian armed insurrection , total rejection of any political solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and provoking hatred for the United States. Moreover, this year for the first time, similar ceremonies were held in Baghdad and other areas in Iraq with large Iranian-oriented Shiite Moslem populations 1/12/2003
