The Islamic Party of Liberation (Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami) is an extremist Palestinian party founded in Jerusalem in 1952. It supports the establishment of the Islamic Caliphate and the destruction of the State of Israel by jihad, and rejects any political solution with Israel. It also opposes the Palestinian Authority. Despite its extremist ideology, it has not been involved in terrorist activities.
