Radical Islamic organizations have joined forces with the radical left to deny the State of Israel the right of self-determination as a Jewish state and as the national homeland of the Jewish People. The various radical Islamic organizations – the most prominent of which is the Muslim Brotherhood – incorporated delegitimizing Israel into their strategy. The radical Islamic organizations spread hostile propaganda to defame Israel and damage its image to subvert its legitimacy and right to exist as a Jewish state and to limit its ability to defend itself.
In practical terms, the radical Islamic organizations organize convoys and flotillas to the Gaza Strip, call for boycotts of Israeli products, support and finance attempts to bring important Israeli figures to trial, exhibit a massive presence in universities, etc. One of the most prominent radical Islamist organizations is IHH, which was one of the prime motivators of violence against the IDF aboard the Mavi Marmara.
